We are a Wakefield-based band playing songs from the last 5 decades to audiences all over West Yorkshire. The band has the line-up of two well-accomplished lead guitarists (Mick and Steve who swap 'lead' and '2nd' guitar roles) plus bass guitar (Stuart) and drums (Martin). However, the band is somewhat unique in that we include, yet another lead / 3rd guitar played by the Sound Man (Greg) who is usually seen out-front manning the mixing desk. The ScratchBand have been together for many years and draw collectively on decades of musical experience, priding ourselves on giving the venue and customer a great night's entertainment always playing at least 2 HOURS OF LIVE MUSIC. The band have a full LED light show available and are ideal for parties because of the variety of music played and the fact that we have a massive song repertoire. We have played many weddings, birthdays (even a 90th), engagement do's etc. The band also carry a full range of music tracks so you do not have to book a 'too loud, too overbearing and not very talented DJ' for your party because the band will play 2 hours of live music with DJ tracks inbetween. Most party venues charge at least £100 to £120 for the DJ. There is no extra charge for the music tracks played by us, so you save money.
